Park Rapids Area Fishing Contest??

The tournament is being held on February 4th, Saturday,

on Fishhook Lake. At this time, the lake is in question

to support the contest. I was told yesterday that the

call we be made on January 28th if the fishing contest

will be held. If there is not contest, I believe

everything will go on the raffle side of the ticket.

Ice fishing contest has been cancelled. Raffle prizes

will be drawn Saturday at the American Legion.

Contest cancelled due to poor ice conditions.

No, you do not have to be present for the raffle in order

to win. The Legion has requested the Governor to allow for

ALL the prizes to be raffled off, since half of the prizes

were for the fishing contest. This is due to gambling

regulations in the state of MN.

When will we know the status of this? I have a few that will buy tickets if you don't have to be present to win.

Got the news this morning, ALL the prizes will be raffled

off next Saturday. Good news for the derby and Legion!

Does anyone know if all the other activities are still being held?

All other events will take place for the weekend,

only cancellation is the fishing part of the derby.

Do we need to be present for the raffle to win? I've heard that the original raffle items you didn't need to be present, but the items that are raffled that would have been on lake prizes(big fish, etc) you need to be present to win.
