the lake has a few different names... House lake... Golden pond.. thaTS what the locals call it anyway..and I will be there friday for sure.. maybe even thursday

Thanks, but I have never heard of it and I was looking at a state map and I didn't even see a lake west of willmar.

I think that is the lake right in Sunburg. Not positive on that though.

Fishattacker...I see your a Raymondite. Your occupation is military I might have you pegged??? Not a big town. I was born and raised there myself. This "lake west of Willmar" is getting lots of attention in recent posts. Come this weekend everyone that wants to know which one it is will see a large crowd on that particular lake.

My buddy has his house on the golden pond, which is just east of sunburg on hiway 9 , one night it's hot the next night you can't buy a bite. he says it only lasts about 45 min. most are small but a few keepers. hope this helps.

Not to many people in salad suits running around in Raymond. Used to live in Clara City but now I am 8 miles closer to the lakes!
