Ice and report

Just got back from the back yard pond.....15-18" of ice all over. Vehicles driving anywhere they wanted to, about 4-6 inces of snow at its deepest points. Travel by any means is not a problem. Developed good sized crack and started to heave in front of public access in garrison about 3/4 mile out, its big you can't miss it. we were able to cross it fine last night. garrison sports road has a spot about 1 mile out with several cracks in it. they were working on it but closed the road monday. fatheads (head only) on anything white or green glow after dark or you could use a rattling spoon with minnow head for the more aggressive fish. 16 walleye and 6 perch two days of fishing. Fished Myr Mar and 8 mile flats..........Myr Mar had perch and the flats had walleye an perch. Had to work to get our fish but sure was nice to be on the ice.
