HUGE Fishing weekend Results

The Fishing Marathon got kicked off Thursday night at Foster Arends. Dave, Craig, and I came out of the gates swinging with 49 smaller gills and 2 nice trout. PDM came out for a few hours, but wasn’t met with much luck

On Friday, the boys got started around 3pm down at Willow Creek and found success. We fished until midnight and the count totaled 94 for the evening. All bluegills with 5 over the 8” mark

The Foster Cleanup on Sat AM gave up only 3 gills in our group of guys. RugbyGuy did manage 1 trout. At about 4, we made it back out to Willow Creek and started putting fish on the ice immediately. RugbyGuy made it to the ice around 9 and added several to our grand total of 120 fish for the evening. 14 gills surpassed the 8” mark with the biggest at 9.25”

Sunday us 4 guys went to Gamehaven for 3.5 hours and landed 22 small gills and 2 smaller perch.

Dave, Craig, and Andy added another 26 fish to the total on Monday while I was at work.

319 fish later, the boys were satisfied and headed back to South Dakota today.

Once again the Marmooksa dominated. I would say 95% of our fish fell victim to it. The #12 was the size of choice.

Way to go guys! Is there a math wizard around that can figure out the ratio. That's like 80 fish a person. So, Thursday thru Sunday that's about 20 fish a guy per day. That's some very busy fishing for sure.
