Never been to Rainey in the winter

I hear alot about Sand Bay and Black Bay. Are these bays on the American side or Canadian side? How would one get there to do some fishing? Thanks

Sand Bay and Black Bay are on the American side. Black Bay usually is good in the spring as the water warms up there quickly. I've caught some nice crappie, walleye, and pike in there. From what I hear Sand Bay is going good right now, if you can get out on the ice there. I hear it's iffy.
