Thieves are lurking on GULL LAKE...

Was up last Tuesday and had good success on some nices eyes, but the trip ended sour when we got back to the landing on the snowmobiles. My brother's $200 tool set was taken/stolen from the box of the truck... now usually he locks it, in fact I 've never seen him NOT lock it, but that day he either forgot or the lock was picked. Either way LOCK YOUR STUFF up... it's REALLY sad that in the sport of fishing on a lake UP NORTH that we should have to even worry about that, but there are jerks everywhere... this is what make people very untrusting.... Even though I know most people are good are heart.

I had a buddy get all of his tools stolen out of his work trailer about a month ago. They cut the whole trailer door off with a torch. My conclusion, when you need your Meth, their is no stopping ya!!!

I think Hopper is right on. I heard a report that theft type crime rates in rural Minnesota have increased proportionately to the reduction in meth labs in the same areas due to stepped up enforcement. Now more of the meth is coming from Mexico so it costs more and not as many people are making their own so they steal to get the money. Too bad we all have to pay for other people's bad choices.
