I'm heading out to Pleasant Lake near St. Cloud this morning. Look for a Silver Chey Colorado or a Brand new EskimoLodge and thats me if anyone wants yto stop by feel free.

I would have stopped by had I been around. I was up in Duluth all weekend long for a friends wedding Better now than around.....fishing opener

Sounds like a number of St.Cloud FMer's will be attending this weekends event at Sportsman's Warehouse.

Unfortunately I have to work this weekend so if I get out at all it would be for a night bite or early early morning before I go to work.

I didn't meet any current FMers out there but I did punch some holes for a couple of guys and told them about the site. I fished and bulled with them for a couple of hours so even though the bite was slow we had a good time.

I also managed a personal first. My first bass through the ice and by the end of the day had 3 bass and 3 hammer handles.

Was that you NE of the group of houses in front of the landing? We stopped for a hour or so and I saw the truck and saw the otter.

We were in the Clam Voyager.

Yeah I think that was me. I started out on the NE weed line and moved south to the first point later in the morning - early afternoon. Had a lot of very small gills in the first location and iced 3 bass and 3 small pike by the point. There was another Eskimo Lodge that set up just north of me when I moved to the point, but that was later in the afternoon.

I'll definitely try to be at Sportmans Warehouse for the Tony Dean presentation. It's just that it's during prime fishing time. Maybe I'll have to get up early and go or just wait until Sunday afternoon.
