What's happening on Winnie?

I plan on being on the lake after the holidays. Has anyone got a good suggestion of where to start? I have fished out of Judds a couple years back and last opener we were at Williams Narrows Resort but I really don't know the lake well enough to know where to start ice fishing now. We will have an ATV to get around so travel shouldn't be a problem as long as the snow dosn't get too deep.

I need a place to stay too. We will be on the ice in portables all day so we don't need too much for a room, just some place to mix a couple cocktails and shut down for the night.

How much ice is out there now? Any place hot enough for a day trip?

shorts call dennys on south side he has what your looking for. talked to him last nite there driveing 1/2 ton small trucks out to the stumps 12 to 16 inches good luck

winnie has been decent on the humps for eyes and some perch and a good place to stay would be high banks they will also give you a good up to date report with no bull
