Tag along?

I am going out in the morning and plan on hitting the flats. At this point I am going alone. If anyone wants to tag along let me know. I have a fishtrap guide that I fish out of so you would have to bring your own house (not much room for 2 people). I also have a 4wheeler that I will be taking out. Let me know.. Its alot easier traking down fish when you have more lines. I am not a guide and any advice would be great.

I will be leaving early from the northern suburbs. I plan on being out to the flats by sunrise.

I usually have a few days off during the week also. I have a snowmobile and portable, but it would be nice to be able to fish in a group with some other people and be able to hop around and find fish a little easier. I might be heading up there tomorrow.

I'm always looking for a tag along, or someone that I can tag along with. Usually go up on Monday or Tuesday, but a different day can be arranged with a little notice.

I do refuse to fish it on weekends....way too much traffic.

I will say that I agree with Bill. I have run many a springer in trials and that dog looks A LOT like the line I used to run. Great dogs

hows it going? havent been to the lake since the full moon of october but things are about to change. i envy you guys who can fish it during the week. saturday im hoping to make my first trip this winter. the warm weather has me a little concerned about the ice because i want to drive my pickup out to ? im not sure yet, but i would like to go where no one else is or very, very few are. i finally got the h2oc w/navionics chip yesterday. its pretty incredible, cant wait to try it. it should open up the lake to be able to fish where others arent! ...as long as i can drive.

I will be taking my dad up on Monday. Plan on coming from the cities and being up there by 7am. 2 weekends ago, I hit the east side with good luck on Jumbo perch. This week I am thinking the west side for walleyes. Any ideas? We are just going to pull the new portable house out with a snowmobile. Let me know if anyone is planning on going out about the same time.

just got back from the pond with walleyeWeasel. had a blast. WW caught some perch and a nice 17" inch eye. i got one perch and a nice fat 24 inch eye WITH a tag. never pulled one up with a tag and is the biggest eye through the ice for me so far. it was a blast fishin with you WW. had alot of fun even tho i had to leave early to head to work. next time it will be a longer more planned out attack.
