I haven't heard much about Carl's lake. Anyone been out there?

In scott co? or Karl's lake, or Macmahon I was out there yesterday, so were about 8 others. Didn't talk to anyone, but it was an easy walk, hard packed trail for dragging the portable. I had marks just about all afternoon, very light bite, caught 3 on waxies. I am sure that I could have done better if my phone wasn't ringing the whole time and fished the bites more seriously. About 5-8" of ice, pretty safe.

IS THERE REALLY WALLEYES IN THIS LAKE AND IF SO ARE THEY HARD TO FIND. IVE ONLY CAUGHT SMALL CRAPPIES BUT HAVEN'T TRIED TO HARD.

ya know, if I wasn't a smoker, I would walk to the inlet on the south end of the lake west of that little point. That's what I would have to figure as the best bet for walleyes. I do think that the stats on the DNR's website are a little (sarcasm) exagerated.

THANKS FOR THE TIP BOWZER. MAYBE I'LL DO A LITTLE SCOUTING. I HAVE ALL NEXT WEEK OFF. IS THERE ANY PARKING ON THE ROAD ON THE SOUTH END OR IS THE NORTH RAMP THE ONLY WAY ON THE LAKE.

As far as I know, just the access on the north. Good Luck next week, some of us poor schmuckks have to spend time with the in-laws on our valuable time off!
