How much snow is on the lake?

We are heading up Friday and would like to know if we can get around off the main roads without getting stuck in our 4x4 SUV or do we need to bring the snowmobiles too? How much snow is on the Lake?

I talked to Zipple Bay Resort today and they said they

didnt get too much snow the last couple of days. Off

road running will be pretty rough. They might not be

letting truck out there yet by the weekend.

Morris Point also said the snow didnt effect them much

I dont know about vehicles out there.

Over Pine on the Adrians road they were getting water

comming up thru some cracks and fishing holes. The weight

of the new snow and all activity was pushing down pretty

hard on the ice. It will cool off on Friday and that

should solve the problem. I know trucks WERE going out

on the Adrians road.....

Better bring the snowmobile if you can

Maybe 2 to 4 inches of snow the past 2 days? Morris point is still not letting vehicles on as of yesterday. When/if we do get snow it'll hide all the ice jumbles and folks will be getting stuck all over the place off the trails.

I'm assuming that 4 wheelers pulling portables will do just fine, correct?

I would say about 8-10" of snow on the lake now around Pine Island.

4 wheelers OK and snowmobiles are OK

I'm not sure why people have to push it with the trucks. We had about 13-14" of ice. I saw 1 ton diesels with drop axle shacks out there. Not me baby!!

And while I'm at it. Please do not drive bumper to bumper on the roads and I have no idea why people park trucks right next to each other.
