has anyone been out on carls yet? are the Crappies bitin? and whens the bite good? Im planing on going out there this weekend and mabey Prior.

never been to carls but, how did you do at lonsdale, i've been thinking of hittin it but dont know anything about it.AND if you need somone to fish prior ,or any other local lake, email me [email protected] i just moved to savage and left all my fishin peeps in ST.Paul area

Me and my buddy went to that lake in lonsedale after my hockey game go we didnt get there untill about 5:30 and we just went to where everyone was fishing and we were there for about 2 hours and the wind picked up and everyones ice houses were blowing away so we packed it up and left... we didnt get any bites but it might be worth going back

      So there is a boat on a friend's property, has been there for about 4 years, with no contact from owner, and she is unreachable. It was last registered in 2020. Is there any way for him to make it his, legally?

      Birds at home have been quiet and out of sight.  Not sure where they went.  Last year they wouldn’t respond to calls - until they did.  But that will be common until the girls quit being friendly.

      I've seen about 60 turkeys in 1.5 days of hunting thus far.  Unfortunately they are not responding to calls or decoys and the only birds that have walked within range are hens.   It's just a waiting game now.  Deer hunting for turkeys, hoping a legal one walks past before I have to quit in a few days...

      A bunch of webcams available these days to see progress as well:   https://lakevermilionresorts.com/webcams/   Looks to be pulling away from shore. I expect ice out between next Friday and Sunday based on temps in the forecast.  Some sun and then some wind would get it going quickly.

      Well lol, Google is your friend! 🤭     Yes, the 2012 movie "Loon Lake" was filmed in Minnesota. Specifically, it was shot in southwest Minnesota, with locations including Round Lake, Pioneer Village, and Jackson County. The film is also based on a local legend from southwest Minnesota about a witch who lived by Loon Lake.
