MN: Actually that is a good place to put it. That way you can't dent it or worse drop a spud bar on it and make a leak. If you use 1/2 inch soft copper, you can pull it through the walls without any problems. Just make sure you don't kink it in the process, and make sure the fittings are tight.... Kaz

Soft copper will work, but there is an alternative in the Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST). I used this in my house and it was very easy to work with. The CSST uses special fittings that don't require the flange fittings like the soft copper. You can find everything at Menard's...including a little pamphlet that tells you all about the stuff.

Just a little friendly suggestion. I would never bury a gas line in a wall, especially one with fittings attached, that is a no-no. Way to much possibility of someone, someday, running a screw or nail in it.

Backlash: I understand where you are coming from, but I felt the the possibility of problems having it exposed was greater than having it in the wall. A friend of mine retroed his fish house and had it exposed, well the spud bar put a small hole in the copper. No fire, but boy did it stink... You are very correct about never having a fitting in the wall because of a leak that could develope. I also used some 2' clips that are used on 2x4 walls when electric service is in the wall. I think they use then to prevent the drywall screws from getting into the wiring.. Kaz

More playas bite the dust.  Probably at least 5 more by the sounds of the reports.  Gotta be at least the many so I can be out too!

Have faith. You can see progress and ice depth from previous years on the Eagle Docks FB page. They said 16 inches a day or so ago.  A few years back they had 16 inches only a week before official ice out.  60s to even 70s next weekend.  It will be gone before opener. I'm planning on docks and lifts next weekend, but I am in a small protected bay that goes out pretty early.

We need optimism right now. The small bays haven't even opened up yet, which is typically two weeks before the big bays lose their ice. The forecast is in our favor though and I see that it's windy today, also a great sign.

Go to the DMV, see if there's a serial number on it. They should be able to title it

I moved my blind right into the middle of the field after I left this morning.  It sticks out like a sore thumb on the landscape.  A friend advised me to try this.  We'll see if it works later.  I hate the way it looks without blending in, but I have to try something else.

For a long time I've been getting pop-ups and error pages where I have to back page. I just thought it was the price of playing in the old sand lot! 🤔
