Hey!

I am new in the game, can anyone help?

What would you recommend to 2 ammature (to clueless) "fishermen" looking to spend a weekend with lots of fishing?

do you plan on fishing a river sys. or a lake ? and where at.( then maybe some one can be more specific about places for you to fish.) also; if you go to the rochester forum under back waters. the guys have been doing alot of shore fishing and talk about what is working for them .

man i didn't mean to scare you away!! many of the ways of fishing from a boat can be used when fishing from shore.( in fact i do this alot when trying out new lures or plastics. if you are after a certain species then check out the forums for them weather it be panfish,bass northen or walleye. for just starting ; panfsih. a small hook tipped with two wax worms fished under a float/bobber around weeds,docks may get you into some blue gils. just ask ! these people are great at helping out!

If your in the Rochester area, I can help put you on some fish. In the past few weeks, I've gone out and caught 40-60 fishin in just a few hours. Most of them are small, but still a great time and there are enough decent fish in there to make it interesting.
