Do you have hard time finding places to hunt

Just curious, so far I have been lucky enough to have land to hunt just about anything or anytime I want to, (but that may or will change) so therefor I know there is public land, and we all may have friend that might let us hunt there spot once in awhile, but otherwise do you all have a tough time or not of finding places to hunt. Are the land owners of Mn, generally pretty nice and or reseptive. I would think you guys in the metro area would have tougher time, only cause you have to travel so far into greater Mn. Just wondering.

i wouldnt say so......u just have to look and act professional. Ask for permission like ur interviewing for a job and hunt as if you were on the president's property.( in otherwords leave it better than you found it). I used to live in the metro and in my experience its alomst easier to get permission. The deer are overpopulated and alot of suburban people go into a swearing and cursing spree when they spot a deer raiding their gardens!!!!!!!And finally bow hunters will have an easier time just because of the weapon of their choice is quieter and safer. go get em!!!!

The key is to act right,be neat, and respect the landowners property and say thank-you.As stated above also, leave it better than you found it.I have alot of guys that ask to hunt in North Dakota, and some of them are real slobs and they dont hunt. Also, ask long in advance of the season and your chances will be alot greater,as if you wait untill the last minute, the farmers land is full.First to ask, first to hunt.If there will be more than one,ask for all right away and you should all be there to ask so he can talk to all of you to lay down the rules.I have never said no to people that are polite, neat and then follow the rules, they come back every year.
