Looking for Crane and Sand Point reports

Fellow fishermen (and women!): I'll be heading up to Crane and Sand Point next weekend and I am wondering about the walleye fishing. Any news? Spent a week on Rainy about a month ago (when all the really bad storms swept through MN), and only found significant walleye in currents (The narrows and Kettle Falls). Since all the lakes connect, should the same pattern hold true? Of course, it has been a bit hot (I'm in Fergus Falls and we only recently dropped out of the 90's), so the fishing may not be too great during the daylight. I appreciate all your help.

I was up on Crane and Sand Point and Little Vermillion last Sunday through Wednesday . Was Very hot and windy most the time . The Walleye are biting like crazy on Crane , but mostly 1/2 inch under the slot did get 2 in the slot and 1 over . All over them from trolling with a minnow and gold spinner in water under 12 feet deep . Also got a few nice size northern on Crane . Little Vermillion did not produce as good as it usually does . A few small walleye at the "S" curve . Sandpoint got 2 HUGE small mouths in grassy bay and few small walleye and a few small northern . Had some good fishing but not much to take home .
