Speaking for Team Wiggles, we got our rears handed to us, but still had a blast.

A big hats of to ChuckN and crew for running a very fun and friendly tourney.

Lots of wind for sure. I like that lake a lot. I want to fish it more after today.

There were some very nice totals, look on the LETS thread for results.

Frabillfisher,

I was the guy that talked to your buddy at the gas station.

Long day with lots of wind and waves. I'm still swaying a little and I've been off the lake for 6 hours laugh.gif

I'm sure that Chuck will have the results posted soon.

Ya GISSERT we got our tails handed to us. It was fun, but you know what, Team Wiggles knows everything and Captain Feathersword gets all the chicks......Thanks to Chuck and Tom, very well organized and a lot of fun....except the wind

I'd offer you a beer, but I only have a few left.

A huge thumbs up for Chuck and crew, it was me and my bud's first time running with this crew and it was a blast grin.gif the little get together at Chuck's was great, I think I got to meet most everybody and I don't think you could fish with a nicer bunch of guys and gals. I highly encourage any body thats been thinking about doing something like this with the F.Mers do it or you are missing out. Oh yea we came in 11th, looking forward to many more events.

Juice

It is not too late for you to join up on the Mystery Lake for August 21, if your bass league does not conflict.

BTW, I like how the big duck lake level is looking!

I'll think about the aug 21st tourney. All i need is a boat and a partner wink.gif The lake is lookin good! She's draining out really well. But it will take a while before she drains down to culvert level. But atleast i dont have to drive through 2 ft of water each time. But fishing around here has been slwo but steady. Decent sunnies comin outta the "little pond" No crappies yet. frown.gif Just waitin for hard water! grin.gif

First open water fishing this morning. Planed to go to Clearwater but water was 6 inches over docks. Drove over to Sylvia/Twin and access was great. Water very clear, could see bottom in more than 12 ft.  Caught several sunfish and bass. 2 northerns and a crappie. Most went back including a 9.5 in male sunny. Beautiful fish. Most caught in less than 3 ft water.  Temp was 61.

We are high up on the hill so no worry of water damage, but our electrical box wasn't too far from the rising lake water. I hope that issue doesn't start hitting others as well!

I was up for opening weekend, but only fished Saturday morning. I had a limit by 6:30 so headed back to the cabin to get work done. In about an hour I lost 2 on the way to the boat, boated a 13" that I threw back, and kept a 14, 15, 16, 17. Nice size eaters. Jig and minnow in 15-20 FOW.  Water temps where I was fishing was 41.    I have damage to 2 docks and several trees down. I hope this water level goes down soon! Good luck everyone.

Opener was decent on Saturday and absolutely on fire Sunday. 9 eyes, three over 25 in, one at 28.5. A bunch of largemouths, some crappie and perch and a TON of bullhead. One of those weekends where your hands start to hurt.

I'm quite happy since I'm going fishing with a pal for the first time in a long time. We plan to purchase some clothing for it, such as exclusive hoodies.

The majority of docks can't be put it. Water is over the top of pretty much every permanent dock.  Very few docks are in.

Crappies are all up shallow in the south metro. Caught this one shore fishing with a beetle spin from a more secluded lake without much access. All of the crappies were between 7-9 inches with this 11.5" being the exception
