rice lake boat ramp

started a new link. Maybe DNR looks at this forum. After fishing Whiteface on thur (dock still sitting in the parking lot) with only two trucks around, swung by Rice. what a cluster F--- there must have been twenty trailors parked everywhere I did not get out of the truck, but looking at the ramp, My sidewalk with the frost heaves looks good. I wonder you would start within the DNR to look at this problem? Any ideas Rice is a good lake for and after work jaunt.

Am coming to Duluth for a family reunion the end of June, and was planning on fishing Rice while there.

I remember fishing there the last time, almost 40 years ago, and always catching fish.

It seems the DNR is more interested in expansion, than it is with upkeep. It would be nice if they could upgrade the more popular ramps once in awhile.

I have a 16' Crestliner, with a 40hp. Will I have any problems launching it at the existing launch? I will also call the DNR when IM in Duluth and complain about the condition of the ramp.

The cement pad is broken and heaved up and the dock is on the short side. You will be able to get your boat in Ok.
