Cobra vs. Toxonics sights

Went to a local sporting goods retailer last night to buy a Cobra Sidewinder sight for my bow. The younger guy behind the counter talked me out of the Cobra and into a comparable sight made by Toxonics. The Cobra seemed just a touch brighter than the Toxonics, but I was told had more of a chance to loosen up b/c it used thumbscrews on the adjustments. Anyone have any trouble with that? I bought the Toxonics anyway, but was told I could return it if I really didn't like it. Anyone have an experience with this brand, good or bad? Looking for input as I want to start shooting next week to be prepared for an upcoming hunt in early Sept.

Well I personally shoot PSE sights, but my other two hunting partners hunt with cobra sidewinders, they claim that they stay bright enough that when it is dark and you cant see that deer anymore you can still see your pins fine. well good luck to you.

I have a cobra and if anything their impoosible to loosen!!!!!!! I dont know if mine is just bad or what but my thumbscrew is tight as i can get it and the screw holding that on is tighter yet!!!! i need a pliers just to get at it for adjustments. But no complaints with this sight at all. Its tigthness is a bonus so you can worry more about making your shot than if your sight rattled loose during the drive there. And yes they are the brightest sight on the market to my knowlege. I can see my pins sometimes after its too dark to even see the deer!!! A little costly but money very well spent!!!!!!
