Duluth city limits bow hunting

Does anyone know where I might find information on the newly approved bow hunting season for the Duluth area city limits? I hunted in Superior's city limits last year but I want to be in on Duluth's new hunt this year but I'm having trouble finding info. Can anyone help me out?

Saw something at Gander last week about the class neeeded to be able to hunt this. Maybe check there...

You should contact the City of Duluth. Most of the time when there are special hunts like that the DNR works directly with the City officials to get it set up. When I was in Red Wing I worked for the City there and I set up the bow hunt there working with the DNR area wildlife manager. If you know who that person for the DNR is in your area, you could contact them too.

The hunt is being administered by the ABA (Arrowhead Bowhunters Alliance). Their website is bowhuntersalliance.org (Hope this is OK that I post this link...)

All the info you need is there. You will need to get involved ASAP, as the proficiency testing begins tonite, and you also need to take an approved bowhunting course before you can take the test. Post back here if you need more info, I know of one additional class coming up in August.

...you say there is an additional class in August? IF it's not full I'd appreciate more info on it, but so far I've pretty much scrapped the Duluth hunt cause I missed the first round of classes and couldn't take the proficiency test since I missed the classes. I'll be busy enough bear hunting and hunting in south Superior as is but I could definately find time to thin the Duluth herd.
