Northern Light Lake?

Has anyone fished northern light lake in ontario? I am heading up there early may, just seeing if anyone has any tips or info.

Good news, bad news ... I have fished Northern Light Lake with good success, but frankly don't remember any of the details about specific locations, etc. We used to go out of the Seagull River area. Our favorite and best spot was always Marabeuf in the same area ... but when the portage into that lake was too difficult, we'd do Northern Lights instead. One thing I do recall was that there are a few creeks and rivers flowing in and out of the lakes up there and we always had good success working in the vicinity of those inlets/outlets.

My wife works with a couple that have a cabin they share on Northern Lights, I will see what I can find out for you. Lots of nice fish up there. Where are you staying?

I remember Northern Light from the early 1960s when only canoes could get in -- It has changed, but I'd be willing to bet on an old BWCA formula. Fish the outside edge of every beaver hut you can find. Don't cast too close or you'll hang up on the timber under the water.

We are staying at northern light resort, normally we go to big sag and camp but we are going the second week in may and I don't want to be camping in nasty weather.
