LOOKING TO BUY A HAND HELD GPS FOR SUMMER FISHING AND WINTER FISHING. ANY TIPS ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR OR THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK IS?

Lowrance has the h2o which is a very good hand-held unit. They retail for 199.99 to about 229.99 depending on where you purchase it. It will accept all the map chips currently available. If you are interested, call Reel Fishing and Tackle in Madison Lake. I know they have a few in stock

Do a quick search in this forum for "GPS" in the subject, and you will find more information than you probably want on the subject. Though I will quickly second the comment about the i-Finder...I have the i-Finder Pro and I love the unit...
