local lakes, too much snow???

Just wondering if anyone has been out on any of the local lakes fishing crappie,since we got this collection of white stuff.Went to island lake,down by sturgeon,the puplic acsses parking lot wasn't evev plowed and no tracks going out to crappie spot.We then headed backto Duluth and tried fish lake at High Banks again no road plowed yet If anybody has any info on a crappie lake with a road it would be nice to hear. thanks

TRYING TO GET OUT TO MINNESUING FOR CRAPS BUT I HEAR THE LAKE FLOODED . IF YOU STAY ON SNOWMOBILE TRAILS THAT FROZE YOU MAYNOT GET WET. THIS LAKE IS MY FAVORITE CRAPPIE LAKE IN THE COUNTY AND I USUALLY DO WELL .I'M TIRED OF GOING TO URL AND GETTING SKUNKED!!!!!!!

I was out to Minnesuing twice this year and the ice never was too thick. I suppose the last snowstorm dropped so much snow that the weight of it pushed the ice down. I fished crappies both times off the north end in deep water. Did well. Got pike on tipups too. Figure the crappies will still be deep, or would they be moving shallow now?

CATFISH I USUALLY FISH THE NORTH END ABOUT 30' OF WATER HAVE PROBABLY SEEN YOU OUT THERE
NORTHLANDER IT IS OFF HWY "P" AND YOU CANT DRIVE ON IT BUT YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO TAKE A SLED WAKLKING WE BE ABOUT 6-7 BLOCKS

USUALLY ALL DAY WORKS AND PLAIN BRASS COLORED HOOKS WITH SMALL MINNOW ABOUT A FOOT TO TWO FOOT OFF BOTTOM
IHAVE A FRIEND WHO LIVES ON THE LAKE AND HE SAYS THE LAKE IS BROWN BECAUSE OF THE WATER ON THE ICE
I'LL BE THERE ON SAT. HOPEFULLY NOT IN HIP BOOTS :P

WELL HERE IT IS 2:30 A.M. AND JUST GOT HOME FROM TOWN AND I LEFT AT 12:30 FROM JACKS PLACE. MY TRUCK COULD ONY GET 1/4 THE WAY DOWN THE DRIVEWAY AND LOOKS LIKE A THREE DAY WEEKEND! I'M GOING TO TRY LIKE HECK TO GET THERE ON SAT. IF YOU SEE TWO GUYSABOUT 6'2" AND 6'9" I'M THE SMALLER ONE WE WILL BE ON THE NORTH END
