lake trout on sag

I was wondering if any one had some info on fishing on Sag for lake trout. I was reading what Early Riser wrote about catching them In 4-6 feet of water If anyone could give some input it would be greatly appricated.

sjorgren, The trout I catch in 4-6' are in smaller lakes than sag. (partridge, dunn, mountain, arrow, etc.) These trout are generally smaller(1-3pounds). To catch them on sag. you must fish deeper, but not too much deeper. I have limited expereince on sag but have fished in about 25'-35' with success for trout up to 13 pounds. Try the area off American point or saddles with adjacent deep water around the myriad islands. Jig with cleos tipped with a whitefish belly or fish live suckers or dead smelt. Hope this helps.
