Nice Fish Guys! What's the water temps up your way? It was 61 near Elk River.

Eye guy, nice fish!

Dirty Dog, Looks like the jet is floating better.

Alvinmack5, What boat were you in? I couldn't believe how many boats were out...

FYI, The Monti library is closed for remodeling...So I'm at a coffee house in Albertville. KT

Kt - glad to see you back in town! Hawgtide said you guys chatted for a bit on Monday! I hope to be up that way wading on Saturday. If you don't have to run home, maybe I'll see you out there.

Thanks KT. She danced on top of the water a couple times and fought like crazy.

KT, I was in a lt gray Alumacraft 145 Fisherman with a 25YAM. I went past the "Saloon" and noticed a Grey RP LP with Missouri stickers tied up off of the bank, I figured that must have been your boat and you taking a bit of a break? How was fishing for everyone? I personally worked pretty hard to catch 11 fish for the day and that was between myself and my buddy.

Tried pitching some CB's, Buzzbaits, but inevitably Yum Rib Worms and SB 4.20's texas rigged ended up working for us.

Alvinmack5: I was with KT fishing yesterday, and yes you caught us at the Saloon. It was time for a break. Fishing with KT is a blast. The fish weren't very cooperative though. KT fished mostly with a buzz bait, and did the tube jig for a while too. Of course he outfished me (although that's nothing to brag about)I primarily used a tube jig and landed 6-8 fish, and lost twice as many....they were short biting. Often the wire rock/weed guard wasn't even opened on my jig. Our first fish was a catfish on a Mepps caught by the Powerplant.

I have questions about the following hypothetical. Buy used boat and trailer from Iowa Resident. Would need to transfer, and I have not done before. Duck boat, may occasionally fish out of it. Technically 15'11 1/2" long. Will have motor. Do I need a title? Does it need registration?   Same for trailer. Need a title? Need Registration? License Plate?   Thank you for any help.

I realize it's only been 2 days Raven77, but are you continuing to see the level decreasing?

Sight fished this one, also got a 19" off a bed with a senko but didn't get a picture because my phone died. Length was 14" for the one in the photo. Haven't been able to get out much recently, but I should be able to go Saturday.

Sizes caught matched most recent survey very closely - a lot of 12-14" fish with a few 15". Three to six feet of water against rocky shoreline at dusk was very productive. Fish still discharging milt. Should continue to be great fishing for next couple weeks along shoreline.

Our group of 6 guys did pretty good. From Thursday evening to Sunday caught a bunch of crappies, 4 walleyes that were to big, a handful of pike and sunfish. One sunfish was 11". All on the west end.

You did a lot better than us...  Did you mostly catch them in mornings and evenings or were you able to catch them mid-day also?

We were up this past weekend.  We got cold but did ok.  We caught around 40 walleye.  Most were 12-14" a handful of 14-16".  Good activity and a full fry pan, but no bigger fish.  Frazer and Smarts bays.  All Jig and minnow.  Mornings we found them at 24-26 FOW.  Evenings in 7-10 FOW.  Water temp was 50-52.

Was out the last 2 days. Saw some Crappies caught in warmer bays. Not much action outside the mouths of bays today. Hoping it picks up this week. Trying to learn this lake over the summer.
