Any reports from Moose Lake area?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys and gals, will be heading up to Moose Lake for the Memorial Day weekend, and wondering if there are any reports for fishing in that general area. Looking for pretty much anything that will bite, and for a meal. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

During the day work the 10-15' water along the shorelines by S L O W L Y working a jig tipped with a chub. Stay away from the steep breaks and look for a flats or a gradual drop. Come evening move to the breaks, anchor and throw jigs covering the shallow and deep waters. Wind and air temps are going to play a role too. If we ever get a day with warm temps or at least warmer then the water, I'd be working shorelines thats receiving those warmer waters.

Lucky 7, Voyaguer North, are real good. Spirit of the Wilderness is the best. IMO.

Yep, they're all good.

But my favorite is Babe's, which is on the left side of the road just after you hit the 30 mph slowdown coming into town on 169 from the west. They trap their own and know their stuff.
