jayson

Recommended Posts

I am planning a trip to the big lake this weekend and would appreciate any suggestions as to where to try and what to use etc to try to get some muskie action. I practice catch and release only....
Thanks

Get yourself a good map of the lake, like a musky map.........They will tell you all the info you need........

Fish either the north shore, vineland bay, or waukaun bay.........

I would recommend pulling cranks or casting jerks/gliders (such as reefhawgs, suicks, bobbies, burts)

I live in wahkon bay and do ALOT of muskie fishing here. My best luck this year has come on black bucktails with orange blades. 3 days ago i had a follow on a black bucktail with 2 blades and last night i was casting the same lure and nailed a beauty 40" northern. my biggest fish ever. good luck on the water. other places to try north end, vineland bay, isle bay, and the twin bays.
