Anyone Graduating from BSU

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if any of you at BSU were graduating from BSU. Techincally recieving an AA degree isn't graduation to me, but I have been waiting so long to recieve because my advisor at BSU screwed up a couple times.

I may go and recieve it but I haven't completely decided if so. May 13th is also when I turn 23, so if I do so I may go out for a beer and a slimsburger.

Nothing wrong with a slims burger. They have great BBQ sauce. I wish they gave fries instead of chips though.

Ya I am graduating. Scott, are you going to be up there for it? Have you and Streit been making musky plans?

I'm not sure if I will be done yet or not Bill. I have to go up there thurs night to take a couple of finals on friday. I don't think I have enough total credits yet. I did enough for 2 degrees, but haven't done enough of the the general courses yet.

Muskie season is just around the corner though. I think your buddy Streit bass fishes all summer though.

If I am thinking of the right Spring Park. That is part of the North West area of the lake. This is actually won of my favorite areas, and is relitively easy to fish.

I like Bohn's Point alot in Crystal bay. You can fish the entire point and see or catch multple fish. Another good spot is right in front of the Lafayette Club, There is decent sized flat that comes up to about 3 feet from 50ft. This spot has good weed clumps and sand areas.

Other then that I do alot of my fishing near wayzata.

Bill,

Lots of nice eyes, biggest at 29.5(by my cousin though), Im already on the board though. 39 inch muskie while northern fishing. Muskie opener is just around the corner well have to go hit tonka. I might have to move to Bemidji for the month of June, I have three classes to take to graduate, and Im not sure if I can take them online or not.

Either way I'll be back by july when Tonka is getting hot.

I have questions about the following hypothetical. Buy used boat and trailer from Iowa Resident. Would need to transfer, and I have not done before. Duck boat, may occasionally fish out of it. Technically 15'11 1/2" long. Will have motor. Do I need a title? Does it need registration?   Same for trailer. Need a title? Need Registration? License Plate?   Thank you for any help.

I realize it's only been 2 days Raven77, but are you continuing to see the level decreasing?

Sight fished this one, also got a 19" off a bed with a senko but didn't get a picture because my phone died. Length was 14" for the one in the photo. Haven't been able to get out much recently, but I should be able to go Saturday.

Sizes caught matched most recent survey very closely - a lot of 12-14" fish with a few 15". Three to six feet of water against rocky shoreline at dusk was very productive. Fish still discharging milt. Should continue to be great fishing for next couple weeks along shoreline.

Our group of 6 guys did pretty good. From Thursday evening to Sunday caught a bunch of crappies, 4 walleyes that were to big, a handful of pike and sunfish. One sunfish was 11". All on the west end.

You did a lot better than us...  Did you mostly catch them in mornings and evenings or were you able to catch them mid-day also?

We were up this past weekend.  We got cold but did ok.  We caught around 40 walleye.  Most were 12-14" a handful of 14-16".  Good activity and a full fry pan, but no bigger fish.  Frazer and Smarts bays.  All Jig and minnow.  Mornings we found them at 24-26 FOW.  Evenings in 7-10 FOW.  Water temp was 50-52.

Was out the last 2 days. Saw some Crappies caught in warmer bays. Not much action outside the mouths of bays today. Hoping it picks up this week. Trying to learn this lake over the summer.
