if you dont get there by 3 am your not getting a spot in the landing and that was before sundays paper. now instead of waiting till the first of june to fish it.(because of the pressure) its going to be closer to july. hopfully people keep letting the big ones go. always do good on the lake and hope it stays that way.

I went there 3 years ago for opener. Had to park a mile away, CO's everywhere giving out parking tickets, stoping boats on the lake and at the landing. it was nutz and i will never go there for opener again!! as for advice, try fishing the sunken island on it's shallowest spot. anchor on it and slip bobber fish, or try drifting out from the landing if the wind is right. Good luck and be sure to follow all laws or you will get a ticket.

I live just down the road from green and with the new landing it tends to keep the amount of boats down, not saying that is a good thing but it is kind of a money maker for the co's they also did the same thing on Spec. My advice is to stay away from going on the weekends and you stand a better chance of not getting hit by the CO's. on the fishing note I was out there again on Sunday and still no fish marked a lot of them but nothing would bite. should turn on any time now if we could get some steady warm weather.
