Walleye Banquet !!

The Brainerd Chapter of the Minnesota Walleye Alliance will hold its third annual membership banquet on Thursday, May 6 at the Nisswa Community Center. Our guest speaker will be Jim Kalkofen, executive director of the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail. Jim will discuss some tips for locating and catching more walleye through some standard and some not so standard methods he has learned through the PWT. Tim Brastrup, area fisheries supervisor, will also speak.
The banquet also features a gourmet meal catered by Lakes Area Catering.

Cost of the banquet ticket is $45 which includes the meal, seminar, and a one year membership in the Brainerd Walleye Alliance, a non-profit conservation organization whose purpose is to encourage and enable quality walleye management.

Spouses and youth (under 18) can attend for $15. Raffle tickets and fund raising games will be available at the banquet beginning at 5:30 pm with dinner and fishing seminar at 7 pm. Proceeds from the banquet help to fund projects in the lakes area.
