Going out of Dickies this weekend!

Hello my fellow fisherman!

I'm headed up to Mille Lacs this Friday and we are fishing out in one of Dickie's resort's house rentals. I am just wondering what to expect this weekend. I love fishing perch, walleye and pike. I was wondering how good the resorts are at putting people on structure or where they think the bite maybe best? I was thinking about bringing some portable gear, in case fishing in our house is terrible. Just some thoughts from you guys would be appreciated!

im not sure where dickies is on the lake. i was just up over the weekend fishing out of karpens. on the south east side of the lake. got snowed in and ended up staying until today. its been pretty slow for walleye all over the lake all winter. catching a lot of tiny perch with some real nice jumbos mixed in. and of course an eel pout once and awhile. having the most luck with crappie minnows and fatheads on plain hook or a small glo-jig right off the bottom. let me know how you do

Fished on the pond yesterday on the east side. Slow going... 2 10" walleye, 1 jumbo perch, and as many 4" perch as you have waxies to support.

we were in 35' of water. bite has been extremely slow all over the place.

beer was cold, brauts were hot, and oprah was interesting...lol

best bet is to concentrate on bottle bass and enjoy your time out there, but don't expect too much anywhere right now unless you are lucky enough to have a guide with you...

fished out of Dickie's 1 month ago and for 3 days and got 2 4 inch perch the entire weekend. Make sure you bring plenty of beer because I don't think they move their houses a whole lot. I hope things are better for you
