Will my snowmobile work?

Howdy All...

I want to make a trip (probably solo) to the pond and have yet to get a 4 wheeler. I am, however, completely rigged for snowmobile travel.

Question.... Is there enough snow for sled travel out on the lake?

Question.... If I go out from an area that has bridges, what are my chances on getting past or over them? The ones I remember are the steel ramp looking things. Not for sleds or wheelers for that matter.

Question.... Are these bridges spanning cracks that may be too wide for a sled?

Question.... What's the safest way to get over theses cracks?

Thanks for any help......

(BTW... If you're wondering, NO. My truck stays on dry land. Every swim out a window before? Not fun!!!)

i was up on the pond last friday and there was hardly any snow at all. It was all ice with very small patches of snow. I don't know about the bridges because we went out with a wheeler on the northeast side, and there's a lot of ice heaves but they were all frozen up when we went over them so you should be fine.
