Any must do's for this weekend?

Hey wondering if anyone has any recommendations for this weekend on where to fish at? Checked the past posts and it appears that not to many people are catching a bunch of eyes so not expecting to get a bunch. However seems like the smallies are biting. I will be honest with all you. I do very little open water fishing. Do 95% of all my fishing in the winter. But I know there is people in the reverse that I help! SO I figured I could come back to the group and try to get some help out of the people that fish during the summer. I will be staying at father Hennipen State Park. Have a 19 foot sea ray so I am kinda limited to "Shallow waters" but I can cast well Look forward to hearing what you have to say. Thanks in advance.

There's rock piles all around the park shore, cast top water poppers in the morning and shallow, fat divers or rattle traps later on, i have done well for smallies out there.

Don't over look the tubes either.

Just called up to father Hennipen and they are booked for the whole weekend. Not even accepting walk in's. well on to another spot. Any idea on good places to camp?

There is a camp ground on the NW side of the lake, nice with hook-ups. Can't remember the name for thelife of me. I believe it is in Garrison. They usually have room. State parks usually fill up fast.

I know my father and I use to always go up to a place up on the west side. There was a brown hotel up on a hill. You could camp on this hill, then at the bottom of the hill was the bait shop and bar. and a protected marina (held about 20 boats) It was of 169. White building for a baitshop/bar < don't remember exactly what was in there. And the Brown Hotel Dont' know if this is enough of a description but figured I would see if anyone knows where I am talking about.
