Area resorts

We are trying to organize a company fishing trip for 8-10 guys and want to find a resort in the Brainerd area that has fishhouses that we can use/rent for a long weekend. Does anyone have any ideas? We have made the long drive to LOW several times and don't want to go that far anymore. We would prefer a smaller mom and pop type place where we can rent a couple of cabins that have kitchens and a place to drink beer and play cards.

My suggestion would be breezy point really nice places and have plenty of choices to stay. It is on Pelican lake and thats a really good walleye lake. It is about 25-30 minutes north of brainard. I have stayed there many times and never had any problems. There is a couple of bars that are right in the resort so you don't have to go far. Walking distance. Have fun.

Another would be Grand View Lodge on Gull Lake. Nice cabins and fish houses. They provide everything you need to go fishing.
