ib test line

I was wondering what ib test line and rod you guys would recommend for fishing bass, pike walleye, for the best money?

As far as fishing line for walleyes, my preference is Berkley Trilene. I use 6# on my reels and use 4# for my snells. If your just starting out 6# for every thing will work fine.

As far as rods I like the St. Croix avid series. They are a little on the expensive side but worth the money. they also come with a life time warranty. You may want to check out the Scheels brand rods, they are far less expensive and a very nice rod. I belive they also have a great warranty.
