Perch Bite?

Thinking about heading up for some walleyes and perch, are the perch especially biting or not?

Was out yesterday, with 3 buddies. After trying some swiss- cheesed, east side flats. We got a couple hundred yds. off a marked some finicky perch. No bait/technique stood out, just the spot, we had 3 portables close to eachother and one put out 90% of the catch, caught probably 15, kept a half dozen, 3 being true jumbos.

The only thing different about that house is they snagged a slimy tulibee, we guessed was the scent transfer possibly helped, or it was the spot on the spot in no structures-ville? Thats mille lacs!
