Just curious if anyone fishes the rum thru the ice at all?? I was out yesterday in a bend that I fish and measured nearly ten inches of ice in spots... I know that river ice is very inconsitent, but we tie ourselves together and we're ok... Thinkin bout heading out there this weekend, will report back... Good fishin!!

Moses, I've often wondered that myself, especially in areas where there's slacker water.

How'd things go this weekend?

As bad as I wanted to get out, the weekend was a bit busy and I never wet a line... Did check the ice though and it is plenty safe in the spots Im fishin so I'm gonna head out this weekend and i'll let ya know then...
