I got the nick name way back in High school, from a famous comedy show out of England.The guy had lots of hottie's all around him and an old man side kick.

The launch trip and after launch campfire was a pretty good time. Thank you to all who attended. We had a full launch.

Benny is for Benny Hill...that's who Brian resembles. Sorry Brian, for spilling the beans to all. Brian kind of acts like him too.

The lake is just loaded with small perch. The reall contest on the boat turned out to be for the small fish award. MT=Pckets felt pretty secure with his 8" walleye, then Matt came in with a 5 3/4" perch (in thedark). Not to be outdone, MT Pockets came in with a 5 1/2" perch.

He was pretty smug at the point staring at his part of the $150 pot.

Just before we had to head in for the night, Wrench shattered the small fish mark with a 4 1/2" perch.

I think picures might be available of those trophies. If I get them, I'll post them here.

I now know why the redtails are working so well on those walleyes. They are keying on all those small perch and the walleyes are mainly on a minnow type diet right now. That lake is just packed with htem right now.

They also have a very healthy population of nice perch.

If you Ice Fish, I recommend you get a hold of Derek or Scott to get in on a pretty good Mille lacs perch bite this winter. Click his link above under Derek's post.

It looks like it could definitely be worth your while.

The walleyes are also fat footballs and so are the pike. Very healthy fish.

just wanted to thank benny and rick again. the launch was a blast and it was fun to put some faces with names. maybe my luck will be a little better next year!
