Line For Leaders

Coming to the big pond in two weeks and was woundering what type and brand of line to use for live bait rig leader?

I use 6# Vanish for my snells.

I always concern myself more with the length of the leader. Longer with slow wind, and shorter in heavier wind. This comes from listening to others and subsequent success. Long leader might be 9ft to 12ft, and short would be 2ft to what ever. Depending on presentaion, some like to use a floater when fish seem higher on the graph. Remember also that fluorocarbon will absorb water and sink, while mono will raise up a little more than fluoro. Good knots...

I have great success with the 6-8# Seaguar Florocarbon material when pulling live bait.

Nothing but 6# vanish. Nothing under 10 feet for the leader either.
