How long a leader?

I have not been fishing for 15 years or so. How long a leader do you use when fishing with leaches and a bobber? Do you graft the fish and then try to put the leech at that depth?

Interesting article. I have been using this setup for the past three years, and it works great.

Just curious...Did you hear about this from (the late)PWT great, Norb Wallock? This was something he did as well. That is where I got my tip from on this setup.
