Swan Lake report

A buddy of mine reports good wally fishing on Swan, north of Grey Eagle. Most catches around sundown (430) and it sounds like nice sizes. I couldn't squeeze anymore info out of him. Anyone fish this lake?

I have fished it in the past years, not for the past 3 however. There are some nice eyes in this lake as well as crappies. Be VERY CAREFULL in the narrows on the north end of the lake. It seems no matter how cold it gets this area just does not freeze. Sorry i don't have any more specific info on location. But it definitley is a lake worth spendin some time on. I have only fished it in summer, but there are some decent panfish and 'eyes in it. I second the warning about the narrows. It seems every year someone goes in. Even when there's 30" of ice, that narrows is bad.

But anyway, does anyone have a report on the ice in that area? I'm thinking about heading out there myself next week. Thanks in advance for any help.
