anyone see any deer lately?

I still have a tag alive and I am thinking about heading out this weekend. Just wondering if anyone has been hunting at all and seeing deer. What kind of cover and food are they using right now? thanks for any info.

I was out in the woods last wkend and the deer were in the thick stuff. They're coming out of there in the evening to feed on acorns. I've noticed more movement in the past wk. earily in the morning, I think the bucks are back on the doe hunt.

Check the Three Lakes Road. I was down through there this weekend and the Deer were thick along the roadside, but I saw only does. I would think that you could find a good path and set up for an evening ambush. I've got a friend who lives on the Comstock Road east of Cotton and he reports seeing lots of deer. He is waiting for a buck.
