Anyone fish Swan Lake?

I'm going to MSMU for school next year and just looking for fun spots to fish for walleyes in the winter. I remember hunting on Swan when i was kid but never fished it, just want to know what it is like and any other good lakes around Kato?

There are tons of places to fish. I believe Swan Lake is for the ducks. The threads on this site will heat up if there is ever ice. I have lived down here for 3 years and find this website very useful. I usually fish the better known places on washington, clear, madison, and duck. No the Swan lake by Courtland is baiscally a duck lake, there might be a few bullheads in it but it is mostly a duck lake. Some lakes to consider would be German and Washington over in that area, also Madison.
