If I get a chance I'll take a look today and get back to you.

Are the panfish decent size in Silver?? Hmmm....maybe that would be a good option this winter when my boys are along??

Whenever i have fished it in the passed i have had pretty good luck with the perch 8-10 inchers good eaters nothing much bigger than that. Last year was rather slow though compared to years passed. i just hope i can knock the dust off the ice gear smile.gif

Looks like the lake is completely froze over.

There are two houses out right now. One is on the south shore next to the big farm and the other is over in the southwest corner. Snowmobiles have been accessing the lake from the east side.

If you make it out tomorrow it would be interesting to hear how you did.

Don't waste your time on old SLIVER. About all you can hope for is a sliver.

Three trips to silver and 00000000 'eyes. 0 anything. Pan fish might be biting but I wouldn't waste my time. I hate pan fish. If they fit in a pan, and you can scoop them up with a net -- they are too easy. Take it from me -- I know.

SLIVER makes me mad. Hit Swede Grove and throw a dart. Fishing is SUPER SLOW.

I use to fish silver alot back ten years ago, (BTW,Id go to Silver B4 Id go to sweed) it was hot back then! a bud and I each caught 28-29" walleyes, 1/2 hr apart one night then about 7:30 the same night, he pulls up a 10-12 lb catfish, talk about weird, didnt even know they were in there.

the best place I found out there is the middle of the west end, to the SW corner, this early 10-14' is where id be. the lake hardly gets fished all summer long. and hasnt been alot of pressure in the winter for a few years, it ought to be comming back..?
