ice on centerville/peltier

There was a guy ice fishing on centerville today. I started to walk out on peltier and heard crack, crack, pop so I stopped and hopped back in my truck. Still gonna take some colder weather before I get out there. 2-3 inches is ok if you weigh less than a 150 lbs.

I hear you on the 150lbs... I've already put on my winter layer and it's not really winter yet! I'm hoping to get out this weekend. Let's hope there's enough ice to keep my 225lb butt from falling through!

Peltier has some currents with the creek too, be cautious. Upcoming forcast does not look promising for us "ice wishers".

Geez, Clear Lake (few miles north) was WIDE OPEN yesterday afternoon & just froze over last night !!!

Saw that too, any wind and it's all over, especially with a high of 40 tomorrow.......

Anybody been out there since? I'm hoping at the very least by next week to be able to hit both of these lakes.

i was out there last night, solid 3 inches,fishing was slow,may try again this weekend
