Sorry I can t help on the Fish lake question. Maybe someone else here or the guys on the Alexandria Forum might be able to help.

Fiske is kind of wild card. I have caught some nice gills and a few crappies there in the summer months some years. It might be worth a try. It has had ice cover for a bit now, while the other lakes were open. You might also get some walleyes there also. I don't think winter kill has been a factor the last couple of years.

Have duck hunted fish lake years ago. Also heard it was a great walleye fishery. Went there 2 summers ago and caught nothing but bullheads. Nice looking structure out there though and I think it would be worth a try on the ice. Looks like a slough but has a nice hard gravel bottom and a couple nice humps on the west end. Let us know if you try it. I think you may be pleasantly surprised.

I can't vouch for the big lakes, but is sounds like the smaller bodies have locked up tight.

Fiske should be a go for sure, that has had ice cover for a couple of weeks.

I HAVE FISHED ON FISKE FOR THE PAST 10+ YEARS AND I HAVE YET TO CATCH A WALLEYE. ALSO I HAVE CAUGHT CRAPPIES AND BLUEGILLS AND ALL OF THEM HAVE BEEN ON THE SMALL SIDE. I HAVE CAUGHT A FEW NICE NORTHERNS BUT LET THEM GO. I WAS GETTING BAIT AT BEN'S BAIT AND THEY ASKED ME WHERE I WAS GOING TO FISH AND I TOLD THEM FISKE AND THEY SAD, "FISKE?" THAT IS NOTHING BUT AND OLD MUD WHOLE!". I LIKE THE LAKE FOR VARIETY AND ACTION BUT I KNOW THERE ARE MORE PRODUCTIVE LAKES IN THE AREA.

YES I KNOW A FEW KEIZERS AROUND THE AREA. ALSO I TRY STAY AWAY FROM OKOBOJI AND SPRIT LAKE DUE TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT GATHER THERE WITH THERE SKI BOATS AND JET SKIES. I LIKE TO GO TO OTTERTAIL COUNTY WHERE THERE IS GOOD FISHING AND PEACE AND QUIET.
