If you havn't put away your boat yet, the pig walleyes are hitting on the Minnesota River. Find the holes and verticle jig with minnows. I've caught a couple 15 inch Sauger from shore but have seen several 20+ inch walleyes boated the past week from boats verticle jigging right in front of me in the same area. I was pitching jigs and minnows from shore and tried a 3 way rig but niether of these presentations seemed to be working like the verticle jigging. My boat is already put away for the winter so I'm out of luck. frown.gif Just thought I would share the info!
