Last time I was there they were working on the launch so no dock and a pile of gravel to deal with. That was 3 weeks ago so it muight be cleaned up.

If you're going out there for one more trip and need a partner let me know. I know the lake pretty well and would love one more shot at it. Walleyes and/or Muskies! Shoot me an email at

[email protected]

Thanks,

Ole

The new launching area has been completed, the ice I am not sure of, I drive by Parkers Lake in Plymouth every morning and the lake is still wide open, I would imagine Indy would be the same,I will make a pass by there this afternoon and check that out, and post info in the morning.

As of this afternoon at 3:00pm the lake is still wide open, no ice to be seen. Hope this helps.

Just talked to a homeowner on Minnetonka, said you would not have a problem launching, and confirmed what we said about it not being that easy this past weekend. Far less shoreline ice. I'd imagine the same would apply for Independence. Still have a girl on 'tonka I'd like to settle a score with......

Not sure to get excited about putting down 10 inch lures in favor of catching 8 inch panfish!!

My personal record is 12-20....95 was the year I believe, Bald Eagle the lake and a Leeping Lizard was the lure of choice. Fish was nice fat 40 incher. I love to ice fish but getting a December ski makes winter really short.

My personal record late fall Muskies were last year. On 10/30/03 I caught a 47" , 11/10/03 a 41" , followed by a 48" on 11/20,03 all on the same metro lake. Three for three. After that I put the boat away and it snowed the next day!

You have to find them to catch em'!

Hmmmm......might you have been fishing right up the road from you off of 169??? Sounds like an impressive fall!!

Main boat is stored, boat #2 is not. Might need to hit it this weekend, weather doesn't look bad at all.
