I was thinking of trying my luck over in one of the bays on Nebagamon, Wife was at the cabin and said that bumble bay was iced over. There is a nice Drop that I thought would probably hold some "eyes" and pike. Wednesday is my only day off so that would probably be the only time out this week. Afternoon is good for me as well. Call me and let me know.

Bait Box has a small selection at the time. He isnt doing any bussiness but deer hides now. Once ice comes he will get more bait. He had fatheads and med suckers yesterday. Im hoping to get out on a sleeper pond tomorrow and if ya need bait Tom I can get ya extra when I get mine.

I doubt Nabagamen will be ready. Amnicon wasnt even close today. Ill let ya know what I out find tomorrow.

Cheffrey My wife was at her Dads place on nebagmenon sat and sunday she said the whole lake was open. His cabin is on the side by the dairy queen in the bay to the left. nice crappie hole over there. they drove ovet to the landing and still only saw open water. we still have to wate

Nels, I just got back from dinner and My M-I-L is staying out at the cabin said it was sheeting in front this morning, we are straight accross from the landing. I was thinking down to the right (your left) where it shallows up where the crick flows out usually holds good early ice before the entire lake freezes over. I may go take a look tommorrow.

On the other note I am sure I will meet up with you b4 the South African opening somewhere around poutfest

Cheffery Our place is the second from the end of fitch rd. its the blue cabin. straight accross from there is a nice 40 ft hole that holds crappies. right in front of the cabin there are sunken piers 10 ft good eye hole. there is usually a couple of houses put right in front of the cabin. those people get pi** when I go out to fish they think they own the lake. I ussually walk out when we are there to drill some hole they are about 20 yd from shore. I will be at the bash and will keep an eye out for the pout fest.were you at lester river this after noon about 3pm? I saw a black jeep one guy fishing. Nels

No that wasn't me, been at work all day, I know exactly where you are talking about the past two years we had a 14x7 in front of our cabin accross from the crappie hole. It was also in front of our cabin. We used to have a white and red wakeboard boat at the end of our dock with a big red tower. (brothers boat) I have jigged in that hole a few times, I know what you are talking about though with the locals. When did it become their honey hole.
