East side fishing report?

I'm heading up on Tuesday to fish out of Big Point. What is the populaur bait and hook?
Is anything being caught?

I fished from late Friday evening to Saturday evening and it was nothing great. Moved the perm out of shallow water to 30'. Caught some perch and missed some walleyes out of it, but did get one mid-day. Hopped around with the portable behind the truck and the perch fishing was pretty decent. Had two or three at every spot I stopped then I'd have to move to find new fish. It was getting late at the last spot and I was getting perch so decided to just stay put for the change of light and got a 26" eye right before the sun set. What a healthy looking fish, and my biggest through the ice so far. Fished out of Agate Bay, caught most stuff on 1/8oz. kastmaster with small minnow head. Best action in 30ft. Friday night-Saturday morning didn't even mark a fish over the rocks! Not saying they're not getting fish around that depth, just not where we were. Good luck. I'll be up this coming weekend.

we (12people) rent fishhouse from hunter point resort and we did not catch only one jumbo perch we did mark alot of fish and i check aqua uv and i did see alot alot of perch but too small and saw 1 walleye come up on my bait and keep going pass my bait i talked to owner and he said they didnot catch any fish this year and he said fishing are lousy this year

Shadrapla, sounds like the time spent on East Flat out of Barnacles a few days ago. We fished three days and brought only two thru the hole. I will say that I did miss several that just took to bait to the bottom and released it without a tooth mark.
Thing just have to pick soon, I hope.
